Beau is a registered psychologist with both academic training and real-world experience. He has considerable experience working with clients from the LGBTIAQ+ community, and is passionate about bringing mental healthcare to all men, wherever they are on their mental healthcare journey.
About Beau
Beau is a registered psychologist with both academic training and real-world experience. He is an LGBTQI-friendly practitioner with an empathic, pragmatic, and collaborative approach. He combines cognitive-behavioural techniques (CBT) with Schema Therapy frameworks, Acceptance and Commitment Practices (ACT), and Motivational work.
Beau also practices hypnosis. His post-graduate studies examined the mechanisms and effectiveness of hypnosis, and he has significant training and experience with the practice.
His broad experience equips him well for helping with any problem, however, his areas of interest include the issues of adolescent and adult men, sleeping and sleep hygiene, mind-body disorders, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.

Fees
The cost of a 50-minute consultation with Beau is $290, payable at the end of the session by cash, debit, or credit card. If referred by a G.P. along with a Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist, you will receive a rebate of $96.65 per session via Medicare. This will be processed at the end of each session.
Up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year. Alternatively, you may wish to claim the consultation fee under private health cover, WorkCover, or TAC, if these options are available to you.
