Registered Psychologist

Yannik is a registered psychologist who helps individuals with Anxiety, Relationship difficulties, and Trauma. He completed his psychology studies in the UK, Australia, and Germany, before relocating to Melbourne in 2018. His warm, open, and inclusive approach ensures a comfortable space where clients can feel safe and supported.

About Yannik

Many of Yannik’s clients navigate diverse mental health challenges. In his sessions, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where they can explore their concerns and feel understood.

Yannik employs a holistic approach to therapy, integrating Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. CBT assists clients in identifying and challenging negative thoughts and behaviours, fostering the development of effective and positive coping strategies. Schema Therapy, which focuses on transforming deeply ingrained maladaptive patterns from childhood, is particularly beneficial for those who have a trauma history or other long-standing mental health issues.

Yannik is an LGBTQI-supportive practitioner.

Outside of his professional life, Yannik is passionate about adventure. He enjoys swimming and skiing, and is currently working towards his private pilot license. If you’re seeking a dedicated psychologist with a warm, yet practical approach, Yannik is here to help you overcome the challenges you may be facing.
